Brief
Design a promotional card game for Amplitude Studio’s video game Endless Dungeon that has a premium feel and aligns with existing brand guidelines and the game’s art style.
Deliverables include a package design, 9 hero cards, 2 board cards and a card back.
Design
Created an elegant golden line work to align with the game’s art-deco and minimalist aesthetic. References to the game’s narrative were also incorporated into the design.

Packaging Design
The video game's story revolves around characters trying to escape a space station. They progress by unlocking doors, this is reflected in the design by the line motif. The golden line work runs across all planes of the packaging which, when closed, aligns to create a locked vault effect which is then unlocked by sliding the tray out.
The packaging opens to reveal a golden interior and a secret message related to the video game’s lore around the planes of the inner tray. The logo, placed on the inner tray and card back, is always visible through the cut-out of the outer sleeve to align with branding requirements.

Production Constraints
The gold foil selected for the line work required a minimum line thickness to be printed. The design was reworked to accommodate this constraint.
The gold foil interior of the outer sleeve was also removed to meet budget constraints.
Card Designs
A minimalist golden frame was designed for the hero cards to accommodate the different sized character illustrations and text of varying lengths while still clearly highlighting gameplay numbers.
The golden line motifs on the board cards and card back were designed to resemble locked doors from the game. The card back design was also adapted to ensure the logo is visible through the packaging’s cut-out when stored.
